The starting point in your NDT Carreer
When qualified and certified as an NDT Level 1 Technician, you are part of the family and yes you are limited in your responsibilities and actions.
When qualified and certified as an NDT Level 2 Technician, the responsibility and passion starts. You will be responsible for all your actions. Everybody will know if you don't follow the Code of Ethics .
NDT Level 2 Technicians are cautious to take the next step become an NDT Level 3. Firstly, you need a broad level of knowledge as a Level 2 technician, Secondly, you need the experience as Level 2 technician to be able to make good judgement call's and Thirdly to be a good judge of character in all circumstances.
Knowledge is key in this profession, without knowledge about various Industries you will be none compliant.
Be able to communicate, be able to listen and provide the best possible answers for all questions.
Before you can start in NDT
Must at least have a Grade 12 in High school education, with mathematics and science as subject's.
First Year in NDT
Start by doing NDT Method training courses and also understand what is very important in this environment. Choose a good mentor and make sure that you learn anything and everything to the best of you ability.
first NDT Method
Make sure you understand the Method that you started with before moving onto the next Method.
Second NDT Method
An important fact, "no NDT Method is better than the other, they are made to compliment each other, rather than to overrule each other.
Exam's of Ndt methods
Exams is an very important part of the system with NDT. Technicians must be Qualified and Certified or Qualified and Authorized depending on type of Industry. Exams are difficult and a high Level of standard must be attained.
With experience
With advanced NDT Methods greater responsibilities is required. Use every possible time to gain experience. NDT Methods must be a passion and not a burden.

pH is a determined value based on a defined scale, similar to temperature. This means that pH of water is not a parameter that can be measured as a concentration or in a quantity. Instead , it is a figure between 0 and 14 defining how acidic or basic a body of water is along a logarithmic scale. The lower the number, the more acidic the water is. The higher the number the more Alkaline it is.
